What is it about the country of Luxembourg that makes us want to lap up its sweets? There’s Wäffelcher, Keikuch, Äppelkuch, Verwurelter, Quetschentaart, and Speculoos cookies. Yet none of these treats are more mouthwatering than lovely Luxembourger Anne Fontaine. The dishy former actress now works as a filmmaker. She’s written and directed such praised pics as Coco Before Chanel (2009) starring Audrey Tautou; Adoration (2013) with Naomi Watts and Robin Wright; Gemma Bovery (2014) featuring Gemma Arterton; and the award-winner The Innocents (2016). With so much talent, it’s clear Anne is all that and a bag of frites! Indeed, the creative cutie initially trained as a dancer in Paris. But once she played Esmeralda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame on stage, she decided to focus on acting. The alluring ingénue made her movie debut in the R-rated flick The Last Romantic Lover (1978). She then showed off her full frontal nudity while taking a shower in the French drama Tendres cousines (1980). Sexy stints in the small screen miniseries Les mystères de Paris (1980), Le mystérieux docteur Cornélius (1984) and Carte de presse (1988) followed. In between the hot brunette could be seen steaming up the big screen in P.R.O.F.S. (1985). Yet once you get a gander at Anne’s bare breasts being squeezed, you’ll call the film P.E.A.K.S.! Of course, that role pales compared to Ms. Fontaine’s flesh-flashing guest spot on France’s humorous history show Softly from Paris (1986) which (un)covers Anne’s three Bs!
